Catholic Cookie Jar: Stop worrying, start trusting: I have a tendency to worry.  A lot.  My mom can attest to the fact that I need many reminders to focus on the present and stop worrying abou...

  1. Hi Molly, Thanks for the link to the Catholic Cookie Jar! I too am like Martha (before she became a saint!) I try to remind myself of St. (Padre) Pio's quote: "Pray, trust, and don't worry!" or St. Bakhita's: "When you trust in God, you treat Him truly as God." In Phil 4:6, St. Paul mentions "thanksgiving" -- I think gratitude to God is so important in developing trust. We trust people who are good to us -- and God is SO GOOD to us! I have to just keep reminding myself to trust Him and do His Will, so I say in my heart over and over (and over!), "In Manus Tuas" (Into Thy Hands). Thanks for the boost! Love from your sister-in-law

  2. I love this molly thank you so much for posting this. Love Aunt Laura
